Nelly - Just a dream!
I've been trying to figure out, what I'm doing wrong.
But yet I can't find any answers.
'Cause searching for them is like trying to see when you're blind:
You can always imagine it, but you'll never really get to see it.
I wish you were here with me, but you're still so far away.
I'm looking back, thinking:
Was it something I did? Something I said?
Or maybe it was you?
Remember when you asked me: If you hurt me with your words?
You have never hurt me when you have told me your opinion,
But something that hurts is when you don't talk,
it's when you say nothing at all.
Mistakes are precious life lessons, I know, 'cause I've learned mine the hard way.
But I was given this life 'Cause I'm strong enough to live it.
So I'm gonna stand, for everything I believe in,
Even if I will be standing alone. How about you?
